LaGrange
County Chamber of Commerce
is
an action association designed to meet business community
needs. It is a voluntary organization of small and large
businesses, professionals and interested individuals who
join together to advance the interest of the community.
It is a legislative representative, information bureau and
a business resource tool.
The chamber is operated by its members through an elected
Board of Directors who serve without pay. The board determines
policy and hires the professional staff. The
variety of chamber activities is virtually unlimited and
changes to meet the needs of the business community.
Committees
composed of chamber members are the driving force of the
chamber. They accomplish the organization's goals and objectives.
Financed
on a voluntary basis, the chamber's expenses are apportioned
among its members. Chamber membership is an investment in
the present and future of the LaGrange County areas. Any
firm or individual sharing a common interest in community
improvement is eligible for membership.
