Referrals The Chamber receives many calls, letters,
and emails requesting specific needs. These requests are
referred to Chamber member's businesses. Chamber members
receive a competitive advantage over non-members.
Networking Through chamber sponsored events and
activities, there are many opportunities to make valuable
business contacts.
Monthly Newsletter The Chamber provides a monthly
newsletter to help keep its members informed about what’s
going on in the community and within the chamber. Let
the Chamber help you with your advertising, this gives
you exposure to over 1100 local readers.
Monthly Membership Luncheons and After-hours The
second Thursday of each month a Chamber Membership Luncheon
or After-hours gathering is held. Typically, a member's
business will sponsor this event and has an opportunity
to showcase their business. Either the sponsor or the
chamber provides a speaker to talk about topics of interest.

City-County Maps Maps of the county and each city
or town are available in the chamber office.
Legislative Updates Many voices speak louder that
one; the chamber monitors current legislation, keeping
the membership informed on issues that may affect their
business. This committee also hosts meet the candidates
in various locations allowing the candidates for political
office to speak to the public about their platforms.
Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening Services The chamber
can assist you in any special ribbon cutting or grand
opening ceremony, in addition to providing media coverage
for your special event.
Listing on the Chambers Website Each chamber member
is listed on the chambers web site, along with a mailing
address, telephone number, contact person and email address.
This listing also states the type of service each member
offers.
Annual Golf Outing The annual chamber golf outing
is one of the main events of the chamber, raising funds
for operation and special projects. Additionally, advertising
opportunities are offered to members during this event.
Annual Membership Meeting Annual Gathering of Chamber
Members to hear accomplishments of the organization. Financial
and sub-committee annual reports are also provided. New
Board members are selected at this meeting.
Relocation Packets New residents to our community
are provided with current real estate guide along with
literature on area businesses. We also provide telephone
books and other pertinent information.
Calendar of Events A calendar of events is provided
on our website homepage.
Student Packets A packet on Lagrange County citing
demographics, a brief history, along with information
about the Amish community are provided upon request to
elementary students for report writing.
